Drone attack damages Wildberries warehouses, recovery may take 1-2 years

Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries said a drone attack by Ukrainian forces triggered major fires at two warehouses, with total damage potentially reaching 50 billion roubles (about 104 billion yen).
Experts estimate it could take one to two years to restore the facilities.
Eight employees killed in attack
Ukrainian forces attacked the company's warehouses in Russia's western Tambov region and Moscow region with drones from late on the 17th into the morning of the 18th. A total of eight employees were killed and more than 80 people were injured.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said the warehouses were used to supply parts needed for drone production and justified the attack.
Damage also in Kyiv and the south
In Ukraine's capital Kyiv in the early hours of the 19th, a Russian ballistic missile attack sparked fires at multiple locations. At least seven people were injured, according to local officials.
In southern Odesa region on the 18th, a missile hit the grounds of an amusement park, killing two people and injuring four, including one child. In addition, homes and other buildings in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions were hit by drone attacks, killing one person and injuring more than 10 in total.
