Yui Kamiji wins first title
The wheelchair event at the Wimbledon Championships was held on the 11th at the All England Club outside London, where top seed Yui Kamiji of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp beat second seed Diede de Groot of the Netherlands 6-0, 6-0 in the women's singles final to claim her first title. Kamiji became the first Japanese woman to complete the career Golden Slam, winning all four Grand Slam tournaments and the Paralympics. She is the second player to achieve the feat in this event, after de Groot.
Oda finishes runner-up in men's doubles
In the men's doubles final, Tokito Oda of Tokairika and Gustavo Fernandez of Argentina lost 6-2, 1-6, 2-6 to top seeds Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid of Britain, finishing runner-up. In men's singles, Shingo Kunieda and Oda have completed the career Golden Slam.
