Tokito Oda wins fourth straight French Open wheelchair title
Oda completes four straight titles
The wheelchair event at the French Open was held on June 6 at Roland Garros in Paris, where top seed Tokito Oda, 20, of Tokai Rika, defeated second seed Alfie Hewett of Britain 6-3, 6-3 in the men's singles final. He matched Shingo Kunieda's record of four consecutive titles in the event, extended his Grand Slam winning streak to five, and claimed his ninth career title.
De Groot wins women's title
In the women's singles, fourth seed Diede de Groot of the Netherlands won the title.
